The GARMIN GPS 17-HVS, is designed primarily for marine use, but can be used in a variety of applications. It delivers exceptional accuracy while standing up to the harshest environments. This pole-mount GPS sensor has an integrated antenna housed in a rugged, waterproof design. The 12-channel receiver allows for continuous tracking of all visible satellites. And it's WAAS capable, which means it can provide position accuracy of less than 3 meters on average. This incredible accuracy is possible without the use of an external DGPS beacon receiver. The GPS 17-HVS also offers excellent EMI/RFI performance for easy integration into systems that will be operated near mobile computing devices and wireless communications equipment. The 30 ft. 8 conductor cable is terminated in loose wires. Power requirements: 10-40 vDC 65mA. Size 3.58" diameter, 4.25" High. Garmin GPS17-HVS Wiring instructions are included with this unit for a variety of applications including hookup to a PC or NMEA compatible device.
