The new Cobra GPS 100 is Cobra's first in a new line of handheld GPS receivers designed for outdoor enthusiasts. The GPS 100 features Cobra's exclusive 18 channel GPS receiver for the fastest acquisition time of any handheld GPS available. Once initialized this unit can lock on in as little as 10 seconds! It is also WAAS compatible provide up to 10 foot accuracy when the WAAS signal is available*. The GPS 100 can store up to 500 of your favorite locations (called waypoints) into memory and also one programmable route made with up to 50 waypoints. You can also save 10 track logs of your path and navigate them either forwards or backwards. Information available on the GPS 100 includes position, average speed, bearing, time/date, elevation, ETA, maximum speed, odometer, trip time and more. The GPS 100 is also waterproof and has rubber armor for protection as well.
*The WAAS signal is currently available in the US only in open areas or on the water. Standard GPS accuracy is 50 feet
